The little prince, it’s a story that starts with a true incident (it happened in real life). Written by Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1900–1944). The author's plane had to stop and do a crash landing. He was alone in the desert so he saw this little boy in front of him so the situation inspired him.
The book is not set in a particular period or in one specific place. Most of the time, they’re in desert (the Sahara) six years after the crashed of his plane. In this this story, I founded three main characters: the narrator, the little prince and the fox. The little prince lived on a very small planet. One day he leaves his planet and visits other planets. He visits the planets of the ‘’big people’’ which he cannot understand. In every planet he goes, everyone was busy with something or expecting something. No one saw him as a friend, they saw him as someone to use at their jobs. For the alcoholic man, the little prince was someone who was there to help him stop drinking. For the king, the little prince was someone who was there for the king to give him commands. For the bighead man, the little prince was someone to admire him. For the business man, the little prince was someone who wasn’t even supposed to exist, someone unimportant.
The story is really about the narrator’s friendship with the Little Prince and about the Prince’s own quest, which takes him to seven planets apart from his own. It’s a story which opens our eyes. Shows us the situation in real life, what’s happening in real life.
